Shipping Timeframes
Below the Description tab on the Product Page, you will see a tab for the Shipping Timeframe for the item. This is because in most cases the shipping is done from the Manufacturer or Distributor directly to you. Also, Manufacturers and Distributors can have multiple warehouses. Be assured that we will always pick the warehouse closest to your address for two reasons. First, you get it quicker, and second and most important it costs less to ship.
Shipping Carriers
Orders shipped via Standard Shipping will be shipped via the US Postal Service, FedEx, UPS, or a local carrier that can get the item to you quicker. Unfortunately, there is no way to guarantee that your order will be shipped via a specific method when you choose standard delivery.
P.O. Box
Please provide a street address for all orders. Only a few of our warehouses have the ability to ship to a P.O. Box. If you must ship to a PO Box, call us first to make sure it can be done.
Expedited Orders.
If the option to expedite shipping is available it will be shown after you fill out your address at checkout and proceed to the shipping page. The zip code and the weight of the order are needed to determine the cost of expedited shipping. Saturday shipping is not offered since not all locations in the US have Saturday delivery. If needed please call us since we only have a very few of our warehouses that have the ability to ship by both UPS and FedEx to cover most of the US Saturday delivery locations.
Hawaii
We do not ship to Hawaii.
Risk of Loss
All items purchased from Vaughn’s Sports Store are made pursuant to a shipment contract with our carriers. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items passes to you upon our delivery of your order to the carrier
Refunds and Returns
STANDARD RETURN POLICY
If you would like to return an item that is in new condition with original product tags and packaging that has not been used, worn, or modified, you may return the product at your expense within 45 days of the date of the order.
RETURN AND EXCHANGE COULD ONLY BE APPLIED WITHIN 45 DAYS OF THE ORDER.
The item(s) must be returned in a new and resalable condition. Customers who place orders are responsible for the accuracy of their product selection and information entered.
Returns on orders placed after Jan 12, 2023, will be subject to a restocking fee of 15%. Since our vendors charge us a restocking fee, we have to pass it through. To maintain our competitive product pricing policy, when all of our competitors charge a restocking fee of 15% to 50% we had no choice but to implement the 15% restocking fee.
HITaDouble will not apply restocking fees if a mistake was made by Vaughn Sports Store.
Please keep in mind that once an order is placed, it cannot be canceled. If you refuse an order, it will then fall under our standard return policy, where roundtrip shipping costs will be deducted from your refund.
In order to return merchandise, GO to the bottom of any page, and at the left-hand side under the title ORDER CENTER you will find the links to the forms to fill out to Exchange Items or Make a Return.
RETURN EXCEPTIONS
Our Standard Return policies do not apply to all items. Below is the Return Exception Policy.
We DO NOT accept returns on items labeled "THIS ITEM CAN NOT BE RETURNED". These items are marked as such in red all capital letters just above the Quantity Order box on the product detail page.
If you bought your Richardson hats in sleeve quantities, hats in quantities of 12 of a color/size. You can not order 12 and then return 11 because you only wanted one. Sleeve quantity purchases must be returned in quantities of 12, 24, etc...
Items that can not be returned:
- Custom Items
- Opened Nets
- Washed or Worn Items
- Stained or Soiled Items
- Close-out items
- Electronic media such as DVDs and Videos
- Swimwear, bodywear, bodysuits, undergarments, panties, bras, masks, and gaiters due to health codes
- Less than complete Kits or Kits with missing items
- Items purchased in pre-packaged quantities (ie, 6 packs, dozens, 50 packs, etc) must be returned in the same pre-packaged quantity. Quantities less than the pre-packaged quantities cannot be returned or exchanged.
- Items that have had their original tags removed
- Items not in their original factory packaging
- Items delivered by a freight company
- Items over 30 days old, from the date of delivery (unless defective)
- Items labeled in red "This ITEM CAN NOT BE RETURNED"
- Items returned WITHOUT a return authorization
Please choose clothing items such as undergarments carefully (For example Boy Cut Briefs). Make use you have picked the right size, and color before placing your order. Remember these items can not be returned.
Returning Shoes: The shoe box itself CAN NOT be used as a return shipping box, as it gets damaged and makes it necessary to replace the box, which is expensive. Shoe boxes MUST be packed inside another box or an additional $20 re-packaging fee will be deducted from any refund due.
Returning Bats: Per manufacturer requirements, all baseball and softball bats must still be in their original shrink-wrap packaging or they are non-returnable. Aluminum bats carry a manufacturer's warranty. If your aluminum bat is defective, the manufacturer requires that it be returned directly to them. Please call the manufacturer for details.
Returning Helmets: Per manufacturer requirements, all helmets must still have their warning stickers and label attached or they are non-returnable.
Any shipping costs you incur to return the product to us will not be refunded.
Shipping cost is non-refundable for undelivered, unclaimed, or returned packages unless we make an error.
If you are not satisfied with your purchase simply return your item(s) in the original condition including all tags, packaging, and accessories within 30 days and you will receive a prompt exchange or refund, excluding shipping charges.
We cannot accept responsibility for uninsured packages.
For exchanges, we will send any merchandise you request at our cost via standard ground shipping.
REFUNDS
If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. An email showing the refund will be sent to the email address on the original order. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
